One of these days I will upload some longer clips from this movie, but for now I linking to a short promo for this obscure 1950 film with Jimmy Durante. As you will see, Rupert the squirrel is a little corny, but once this movie gets going, this is a great story of a poor but generous family who recieves some divine assistance as the mother says a simple prayer: “Rosalinda needs new shoes”. This is now one of my favorite Christmas classics.
